The Finish Superintendent directs subcontractors, manages punch list completion, coordinates inspections, and drives projects through substantial completion and owner turnover.  </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b>  </p><p><b>Project Oversight</b>  </p><ul>  <li>Supervise and      coordinate all finishing activities, including drywall, painting,      flooring, ceilings, millwork, doors, hardware, specialties, and final site      work.  </li><li>Monitor daily      progress of finish trades to ensure project milestones and completion      dates are achieved.  </li><li>Develop and      maintain detailed finish schedules and three-week look-ahead plans.  </li><li>Coordinate      sequencing between finishing trades to maximize productivity and minimize      rework. </li></ul><p><b>Quality Control</b>  </p><ul>  <li>Conduct regular      quality inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents, plans,      specifications, and company standards.  </li><li>Identify and      proactively resolve deficiencies before owner or architect inspections.  </li><li>Manage quality      assurance and quality control processes throughout project completion.  </li><li>Ensure finished      spaces are protected from damage during ongoing construction activities. </li></ul><p><b>Punch List Management</b>  </p><ul>  <li>Lead pre-punch,      architect punch, and owner punch list processes.  </li><li>Track and      verify correction of punch list items.  </li><li>Coordinate      subcontractors to ensure timely completion of deficiencies.  </li><li>Maintain punch      list documentation and status reports. </li></ul><p><b>Subcontractor Coordination</b>  </p><ul>  <li>Direct and      manage subcontractors and vendors performing finish work.  </li><li>Conduct daily      coordination meetings to review priorities, schedules, safety, and quality      expectations.  </li><li>Ensure      subcontractors maintain manpower levels necessary to meet project      deadlines.  </li><li>Resolve field      conflicts and productivity issues. </li></ul><p>&nbsp;  </p><p><b>Safety Management</b>  </p><ul>  <li>Enforce company      safety policies and OSHA requirements.  </li><li>Conduct regular      safety inspections and toolbox talks.  </li><li>Ensure all work      areas remain clean, organized, and hazard-free.  </li><li>Investigate and      document incidents as required. </li></ul><p><b>Project Closeout</b>  </p><ul>  <li>Coordinate      inspections with architects, consultants, and owners.  </li><li>Assist with      preparation and collection of closeout documents.  </li><li>Manage      completion of as-built drawings, warranties, operation manuals, and      turnover packages.  </li><li>Support      successful project occupancy and owner handover. </li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b>  </p><p><b>Required</b>  </p><ul>  <li>High school      diploma or GED.  </li><li>5+ years of      construction supervision experience, with significant experience in finish      work.  </li><li>Strong      knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and finish      systems.  </li><li>Ability to read      and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.  </li><li>Proficiency      with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.  </li><li>Excellent      communication, leadership, and organizational skills. </li></ul><p><b>Preferred</b></p><ul><li>Experience with      healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, education, or commercial      construction projects.  </li><li>OSHA 30      certification.  </li><li>First Aid/CPR      certification.  </li><li>Experience with      Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar project management      software. </li></ul><p><b>Key Competencies</b>  </p><ul>  <li>Leadership and      team management  </li><li>Quality      assurance and quality control  </li><li>Scheduling and      planning  </li><li>Problem-solving      and decision-making  </li><li>Client      relations  </li><li>Construction      documentation  </li><li>Time management  </li><li>Attention to      detail </li></ul><p><br></p>]]></media:description></item></channel></rss>
